Corporate Responsibility
Protecting the local environment
Harlequin Hotels & Resorts is committed to protecting the local environment and ensuring responsible use of resources.

All resorts are subject to an Environmental Impact Analysis (EIA) study and will be built in strict accordance with local and international government building standards regulations.

Harlequin is working with local conservation groups to ensure that natural habitats and beaches are protected, including the conservation of mangroves, turtle nesting areas and Tri Tri fish at mouth of the Buccament River, and respecting and protecting nature reserves.

The tropical planting within the gardens of the resorts will enhance the beauty of the local environment and prevent erosion using indigenous plants and trees.
