at the World Travel Awards!
The Harlequin Sports Academy offers expert football, tennis, cricket, rugby and now netball coaching for both children and adults. These 5 star activities are provided with huge names from their respective sports, including the Harlequin Soccer Academy, Pat Cash Tennis Club, Buccament Bay Resort Cricket Academy with coaches accredited by the West Indies Cricket Board, Netball Camp with England superstar Sasha Corbin, and Rugby Camp with the likes of World Cup winner Lewis “Mad Dog” Moody.
The Harlequin Sports Academy is also a primary part of Harlequin’s Corporate Social Responsibility programme
, promoting better education through sport in the Caribbean.
Throughout the year the sports academy has brought guests special coaching masterclasses from huge sporting names such as the legend himself, Pat Cash, England and Liverpool FC legend John Barnes, Essex County Cricket legend Ronnie Irani, and Wales Rugby legend and coach Rob Howley.

In May 2014, the Harlequin Sports Academy will welcome England Ambassador and England & Hertfordshire Mavericks player, Sasha Corbin, and the Hertfordshire Mavericks’ Head Coach, Samantha Bird
, to coach Buccament Bay Resort’s very first Luxury Netball Camp.
The latest World Travel Award nomination comes after Buccament Bay Resort’s victories at the World Travel Awards earlier this year.
The resort took home the awards for “St Vincent & The Grenadines’ Leading Hotel” and “Leading Spa Resort” in St Vincent & The Grenadines.
The WTA awards programme, hailed as “the Oscars of the travel industry”, highlights and rewards travel brands that have made the greatest contribution to the industry over the past year.
