Dave Rose
Musical Director/Pianist
|
Dave trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. He has extensive
experience in musical theatre having worked in the West End and throughout the UK
and Europe. In 2010 Dave conducted the West End Premiere of Flashdance - The
Musical at The Shaftesbury Theatre and, prior to that, its World Premiere at Theatre
Royal, Plymouth. Other credits as Musical Director/Conductor include: Starlight
Express Bochum, Germany; By Jeeves Landor Theatre; Starlight Express UK/
Scandinavia Tour; Jesus Christ Superstar UK Tour; Joseph and the Amazing
Technicolor Dreamcoat West End. Additional theatre credits include: Peter Pan - A
Musical Leicester Curve; Whistle Down the Wind UK Tour; Coronation Street -
Rogues, Angels, Heroes and Fools (Album). Dave was Musical Associate for the
West End premiere of The Shawshank Redemption which played at the Wyndham's
Theatre in 2009.
Dave has composed and arranged music for theatre, concerts and film, and is also a
trained trombonist.
