Formalities

Our wedding co-ordinator will arrange for you to obtain a special marriage licence from the Ministry of Justice of St Vincent & The Grenadines. You will both need to attend and if the application is made before 10:30am you will receive your licence on the same day. You must arrive in St Vincent & The Grenadines a minimum of 24 hours prior to your wedding ceremony.

English translations of documents must be provided if they are in another language.

Please note:
two witnesses are required for the wedding ceremony. Please let us know you wish to get married at Buccament Bay Resort six months prior to the date so that we can make sure your day is perfect. To protect your special day from those things you can’t plan for we advise you take out wedding insurance.

You will be required to provide the following documents
•	Valid passport
•	Ticket for onward travel from St Vincent & The Grenadines
•	Original birth certificate
•	Original Decree Absolute if one or both parties is divorced
•	Original death certificate of deceased spouse if one or both parties is a widow/widower
•	Certified and notarised copy of proof of name changed by Deed Poll
